As the healthcare is a real issue in our part of Tanzania, locals still partly use traditional method featuring local herbs and roots.

 

During a walk along the beautiful cliffs and incredible views of the mountains and hills, you will get a chance to meet a “Natural Healer” and be able to observe a healing ritual, and maybe even participate in a healing process. After a picnic lunch, we will visit the Sunga Dispensary to learn about the challenges for modern health care in the Usambaras.
